Today people will receive at least 10 pieces of junk mail in their email each day. Before registering at any website check their privacy policy, this will give you good idea how they handle user data. The other reason could be your email with banks, Credit Card Company, charity, rental office, public records, sweet stakes, airlines etc.
So, the next time that your email is empty, you should not be disappointed. Instead, you should be thankful that you are not being sent any junkmail that day.
